Hearing the voice of God part 2

—

Okay, so this next part is going to sound like something straight from a horror movie.

After I said that prayer, I started experiencing a lot of strange things. I would hear people laughing or calling my name, but when I looked around, I saw no one. I looked out the windows and saw nothing. My dogs could hear it too, so I knew I was not going crazy. I would wake up with weird scratches on my body, and this went on for a very long time. I did not understand why, and I was really scared at times.

I was all alone most of the time, but once I started realizing what I believed was going on, I remembered that I had grown up knowing about demons and had a few experiences even as a kid. So I would call on His name and tell the voices to leave me alone in the name of Jesus. I know this sounds crazy, but trust me when I tell you, demons are VERY REAL.

The attacks would not stop; but they would slow down when I said His name. They hate His name. It truly holds power. Remember that.

So I started to realize I could almost make out what I was hearing. I would take my phone out and record videos, trying to see if the voices were only in my head or if they could be heard. Sometimes you could hear things, but not everything I was hearing was being picked up on video, so I thought, “It is in my head.” After a brief freakout period and looking things up to see if I was losing my mind or not,

I prayed on it and asked for discernment, to show me what was evil and what was coming from God. I also started seeing things when I would close my eyes. It is hard to explain, but I would see faint lights, and sometimes I could see shapes. I definitely started seeing crosses, and I could almost swear I could make out a person’s face. It did not scare me; it actually made me feel calm for some strange reason. But all of these demonic attacks, plus other things that were going on in my life, were really starting to take a toll on me.

One day, when I went out to my backyard to swing on the swing set while listening to music (it clears my head), I saw something while looking around. I jumped off my swing and looked behind me. I saw these beautiful lights swirling all around in the air. They were not too high up either, but they were beautiful pastel lights, and they left a trail every time they moved—pink, purple, yellow, blue. It was almost dark out, so I could see them very well. I thought maybe they were fireworks, but I could not hear anything, so there went that theory. I was in awe. I could not believe my eyes and could not wrap my head around where they were coming from. I had lived in this place for 18 years at the time, and I had never seen anything like it. They started fading away, so I finally went back inside feeling a lot better, but still very puzzled. I will come back to this later.

One night, I started really listening to see if I could make out what was being said to me, but there were so many voices it was almost impossible. I did hear a faint voice telling me to call my Aunt Deb and have her pray over me, so I did just that.

I explained the whole story to her, and she wasted no time. She asked God to protect me, and she demanded that all the voices of the enemy be silenced in the name of Jesus. Right when she said that, they were gone. It was finally quiet for once. I was so happy, and it was my confirmation that I was not losing my mind.

After I got off the phone with her, I was lying on my bed and started to hear a man’s voice—very calm, very quiet. I could make out what he was saying, but I had to really focus to listen.

In a very faint voice, he told me he was Jesus and that he had been trying to get my attention for a while. He said he was so happy I had called my Aunt Deb so she could pray over me to get those demons off me. I felt like I could hear the disgust in his voice when he talked about them. He said he was sorry for everything that I was going through and that he hates seeing me, or any of his children, depressed like I was. He told me everything was going to get better now. I was SHOCKED, excited, nervous, feeling so many emotions. I started bawling my eyes out. I could not believe it, and I had so many questions.

Like what I had been experiencing for so long (it had been going on for almost two years at the time) and why.

He told me he had answered my prayer about the gift I was asking for and said he did it because he knew it would benefit me and that I could handle the voices. If it would have hurt me in any way, or if he knew I would have ended up in the loony bin, he would not have answered. He said he knew how badly I wanted to hear him for so long, and because I had drawn close to him, he drew even closer to me, just like the Bible says in James 4:8.

I asked him why I could hear these things. He explained to me that when we open doors to things like watching porn or doing drugs, or even certain prescription meds (like the ones I had been prescribed for years), it makes it so demons can quite literally attach themselves to us. Most people cannot hear them like I could, but trust me, if you are not living like he tells us to in the Bible and are doing those things like I was, then I know you definitely have demons attached to you. There is no way around it. everytime you do it it is like a game of Russian roulette. (I will talk more on this in a future post).

I was shocked. Even though I knew watching porn was not the Christian way of living, I still did not see that it was wrong. I was so brainwashed by our society, by how it is normalized and thrown in our faces every day, that I could not see it. I struggled with that for a very long time. He also told me that some of the music I was listening to was inviting demons into my life. I will talk about this as well in another post.

I asked him about the things I was seeing, like the lights outside when I was swinging. He told me it was him and that he did it just to cheer me up because he hates seeing me so down and depressed. In my experience, he is very loving and thoughtful. I know you would think, “Of course God is loving and thoughtful,” but he really puts so much thought behind the things he does for us, it is unreal. I am holding back tears right now just thinking about it. I truly believe he has done so many things to help you in your life that you cannot see, just like he did for me. He loves all of us so much. I am starting to get off topic; there are so many things I have to share with you all.

He also told me that the face I see when I close my eyes is him, and he said it will never be clear because if I saw his face, it would kill me, and if I heard his voice any louder than this, it would also kill me. His glory is too strong for us to handle while we are here on earth, but it is different when we cross over.

It has now been about three years since I said that prayer, and I have learned so much. I cannot wait to share it with you all. Jesus asked me to start this blog so I could help people, which I have always wanted to do. I am going to be telling you about a lot of misconceptions and things that have been taken the wrong way from the Bible, so stay tuned. He also wants me to tell you all what is really going on in the world. I cannot wait to get into it. I know it is really going to help.

I just want to end this by saying I know this sounds crazy, but we have a powerful God, and anything is possible through Him. Even if you do not believe that I hear Him, please just read what I have to tell you all in future posts. It is way more important than me fighting to prove anything to people. If you think I am crazy, that is okay too. It does not bother me. Just keep an eye out for the things I have to say on this blog. I hope I can build a little community and bring people closer to our Father in heaven and help wake you all up to what is really going on in the world.

Thanks for reading.

● About Me

I’m Kyle, the author behind this blog. Honestly, it was God’s idea—He told me to share my story. Just bear with me, please; I’m not the best writer. I just want to keep it real with you all, share the crazy things God has done for me, and hopefully help some people along the way. Even if it’s just one person, it’ll be worth it.
