A warning about the new age

—

I have had several conversations with Jesus about the New Age movement.

Oh, and if you’re not already caught up, hi, my name is Kyle. I said a prayer to God asking to hear His voice, and He answered. I wrote about it in my first two posts—go read them if you want.

The New Age movement is a bunch of malarkey—that’s what He told me verbatim. I used to be so wrapped up in manifestation and meditation. I would meditate for hours upon hours until I was so deeply relaxed I felt like I was in a trance (and technically I was). I would watch things on how to raise my frequency or vibration, and I truly felt like I was tapping into God’s energy. I felt like we are made by God and all of us have a spark (His DNA) inside of us, which grants us the power to change our reality, but in actuality I was opening doors to things I didn’t understand and was getting demonic attachments on me left and right.

Jesus told me the truth about the New Age movement: that it is wrapped up in this façade, telling you it’s all good and all love and truth. They make claims about things like they are facts when they’re really just theories, like crystals healing people. It is talked about as if it is fact. And hear me out—I get it, because I used to be one of these people. I had a crystal for every ailment, and I had very strong attachments to them. So don’t take this the wrong way; I’m only telling you what God told me and am not in any way judging people who believe this. My intention is to get people to stop looking for God in all the wrong places, just like I was doing for so long.

Now that I know that truth, I don’t feel that emptiness I felt in me. God has filled that void in me, and that’s what I want everyone to experience so badly.

I’m going to tell you about some of these practices and tell you what they really are, why you shouldn’t do them, and what Jesus told me about them.

  • Astral projection is the most dangerous trap in the New Age movement. It is a demonic realm and is not safe. There are so many lies said about this place online—do not believe them. It’s extremely dangerous and can lead to you getting possessed. It is literally what demons and fallen angels use to attach themselves to humans; that’s how they hurt us.
  • Reiki is also a trap, and you feel things when you are getting this done because demons are touching your body and making you feel like it is energy and you’re being magically healed. You’re not, but I could understand why you would think that. If you need to be healed, ask Jesus to live inside your heart and go get prayed over. God wants nothing more than to heal all of His children.
  • Kundalini—when you practice this, you are actually summoning a demon, and if you have done this, you should go get prayed over to rebuke all demonic attachments in the name of Jesus.
  • Yoga is not just stretching. Look up the origins of it; it will tell you that the poses come from poses of false gods and can also open up doors for demons to get attached to you.
  • Manifestation—I used to believe in this, and let me tell you, nothing ever happened. If you have been blessed in your job or your life, it was God’s doing. And some people might say, “But I don’t even believe in God and I have a great life.” God’s blessings are all there is in this world, and sometimes He will bless nonbelievers so those people can bless His children. He has His reasons, but manifestation is a lie.

The point I’m making is all these things are just traps and could really mess your life up. I always say this: even if you’re a nonbeliever, just ask God yourself and listen and wait; He will answer, I guarantee it. What do you have to lose in asking one question?

All so true! The scary thing is lots of these things do actually work do because the devil always trys to recreate what God did.

I do hold power in my tongue, I do get energy from a higher power, but all in the name of Jesus. So glad you are seeing all the demonic warfare behind the whole world.

I read this left the comment above then opened my nightly Bible study to james 3:9-10

“With the tongue we praise our lord and father and with it we curse human beings who have been made in God’s likeness. Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters this should not be.”

● About Me

I’m Kyle, the author behind this blog. Honestly, it was God’s idea—He told me to share my story. Just bear with me, please; I’m not the best writer. I just want to keep it real with you all, share the crazy things God has done for me, and hopefully help some people along the way. Even if it’s just one person, it’ll be worth it.
